(CortacaToday) — Our pets of the week for this week start with Captain (Top L) and Triumph (Top R) from CNY Snap. Captain is a young male who is fairly shy, curious, and independent. He came to the shelter not having much faith in people but has become more trusting over time. A home willing to let him take things at his home pace and give him patience would be the best fit. He is up to date with his vaccines, neutered, microchipped, and is FeLV and FIV negative.
Triumph lives up to his name as he is a big boy. Quiet, independent, and shy, he needs some time to be able to warm up to people, so a calm home with people who would let him acclimate on his own time would be ideal. Though he is FIV positive, he looks and acts like any other cat. FIV is only transmitted to other felines primarily through deep, penetrating bite wounds. He has been neutered, microchipped, is up to date on his vaccines, and is FeLV negative.
Next, we have Zoey (Bottom L) and Calliope (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Zoey is a little over two and a half years old and is sweet, friendly, and energetic. She is very playful and affectionate and would make a great companion for someone looking for an active dog.
Calliope is a young girl who knows a lot of tricks and enjoys playtime with her favorite toys, but likes to wind down after with lots of affection and cuddling. If you’re looking for a sweet lap dog who loves to spend time with her humans, Calliope is the one for you.
