ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — A new restaurant in Ithaca is combining cuisines.

Hot Pot Meets BBQ recently opened on South Meadow Street. Staff member Paula Garcia said people are loving the menu.

“So far, the community seems to really enjoy having another buffet in town,” she said.

The eatery serves Asian-style meats, vegetables, and desserts. Garcia said the fare is fabulous for Ithaca’s diverse population.

“There’s a lot of clientele in the area, international students,” she said. “There’s just not a lot of food like this in the area.”

The restaurant is open seven days a week. It features a bar and a robot that serves food to customers.
