ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Korsah Akumfi is the next Tompkins County administrator.

A unanimous vote last night in the Legislature made it official. After recording the votes, Legislative Chair Dan Klein delivered the good news.

Akumfi, who’s currently the administrator for Schoharie County, says he’s thankful.

Akumfi will start in Tompkins County on January 6th. Lisa Holmes, who’s currently the Tompkins County administrator, is retiring in December.
