ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — There’s a new start date for Tompkins County’s next administrator. 

Korsah Akumfi will begin on January 6, 2025. Akumfi, who’s currently the Schoharie County administrator, was originally going to start in December before Lisa Holmes retires. The county says the adjusted date allows Akumfi to complete his time in Schoharie County.

The Tompkins County Legislature will formally accept Akumfi’s appointment next Tuesday.
