Fundraising for Creatives

This workshop, led by artist Anna Warfield, will explore various income-generating strategies for artists, with a particular emphasis on crowdfunding. Warfield will discuss the elements of successful crowdfunding campaigns and provide insights into different platforms. Participants are encouraged to approach the session with creativity and an open mind regarding their fundraising practices.
Warfield, a visual artist based in Binghamton, has extensive experience in crowdfunding, especially through her involvement with the LUMA Projection Arts Festival. She has collaborated with notable figures in the arts, including Na Chainkua Reindorf and Carrie Mae Weems, and has shared her expertise at institutions such as NYFA and Cornell University.
