ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Cornell is rejecting an appeal from a student who’s facing potential deportation. 

The Ithaca Voice reports Momodou Taal has been suspended since Monday for his participation earlier this month in a pro-Palestinian protest. Taal, who’s a grad student, is a UK native. One appeal was denied Thursday, and Taal had until 5 p.m. Friday to submit his second appeal. Taal was allowed only two appeals.

A final decision on Taal’s future at Cornell is being discussed.
