CORTLANDVILLE, N.Y. (WHCU) – A Cortlandville man awaits his day in court.

Cortland County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 37-year-old Michael Grossi Sunday, April 2, 2023, after a burglary investigation. Authorities say Grossi broke into someone’s house and damaged items. Grossi was located in the residence when deputies arrived. The victim has a full stay away order of protection against Grossi. Grossi was arrested for similar crimes in recent months.

Grossi is charged with felony burglary and misdemeanors of criminal mischief and criminal contempt. Grossi was arraigned and remanded to the Cortland County Jail on $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 bail bond, or $200,000 partially secured bond with 10% down. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Cortlandville Court at 11:30 a.m. on April 5, 2023.
