ELMIRA, NY (CortacaToday) – A Tioga County man wanted in Pennsylvania has been captured.

On Friday, September 13, 2024, Chemung County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 41-year-old Marcus Campbell, of Waverly, on charges unrelated to his wanted status in the Keystone State.

While in custody, authorities determined Campbell was a fugitive from justice out of Bradford County for failure to appear in court on an identity theft charge. He was subsequently arrested and held to face charges in the Pennsylvania.

Campbell is awaiting extradition in Chemung County Jail.
