TRUMANSBURG, NY (CortacaToday) — After 13 years in charge, Kimberly Bell knows what’s in her future.
Bell will retire as superintendent of the Trumansburg Central School District shortly after the start of 2025. In a statement provided to WHCU, Bell says she’s “immensely grateful for the memories and support shared over the years.”
“I am confident that the incredible dedication and hard work of our faculty and staff will continue to keep our district moving forward, and I am sure the eventual leadership of a new superintendent will only further this upward trajectory,” Bell said.
Trumansburg’s Board of Education accepted Bell’s resignation at their Sept. 17 meeting.
“In collaboration with the Board of Education, I will continue to work diligently to cover the responsibilities of my role until the new superintendent is appointed. My priority is to ensure continuity in leadership and to prevent any disruption to the school year, so our district remains strong and focused on our mission,” Bell added.
Bell’s retirement date is Jan. 10, 2025.
