MARATHON, NY (CortacaToday) — Streets in Marathon could become more decorative.

Village leaders are considering putting up banners. They would possibly hang along Route 11 and Route 221 W.

Village Trustee Ralph Canfield would like to see the banners honor veterans.

The Board of Trustees will continue conversations on Oct. 2.
